JOB TITLE - Marketing Manager – EU Border Trade
LOCATION - Anywhere within the EU where STG has a legal entity - Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, UK, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany or France
HOURS - Full-time, 37 hours per week
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are excited to be hiring a Marketing Manager focused on EU Border Trade. In this role, you will drive marketing initiatives and strategies across the EU border trade regions across multiple markets, ensuring brand performance and supporting our ambitious growth targets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build effective marketing plans, portfolio & pricing strategies and bring our product portfolio to life in this unique and dynamic environment. This role reports directly to the Marketing Director – Europe.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Developing and executing marketing strategies & plans tailored to the EU border trade regions across multiple markets in Europe to drive brand performance
- Driving proactive portfolio & pricing management for both core and NPD based on market trends, gap analysis, and innovation opportunities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, sales ops management, and global brand teams, to ensure cohesive strategy execution
- Driving promotional activities for new and existing products to capture consumer interest and drive growth
- Analysing market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for brand growth and portfolio & pricing optimization within the border trade segment
- Managing the marketing budget for EU border trade in collaboration with local marketing teams to ensure efficient allocation of resources and maximized ROI
- Monitoring and reporting on brand performance and brand metrics, using data-driven insights to refine and improve future strategies
- Building relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers and external agencies
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED?
- 7+ years of marketing experience within a consumer goods environment, with experience in border trade or similar channels preferred
- Proven track record of driving brand performance and impacting category P&L.
- Proficiency in portfolio, pricing & activation management, market analysis, and budget management
- Strong understanding of the EU border trade market and consumer behaviour in this segment
- Proven track record in implementing and driving successful marketing initiatives across diverse markets
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Data-driven approach with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
- Degree Marketing, Business, or a related field; proficiency in English is required; additional EU languages are an advantage
