About The Job
Join our dynamic Order Handling Team BU Decanters, where you’ll gain hands-on experience managing decanter orders in a global setting. As an intern, you’ll assist in processing both standard and non-standard orders from our internal customers (Alfa Laval Sales Companies). You will play a key role in ensuring seamless communication and efficient order processing across various departments and international stakeholders.
1. Order Processing Support:
* Assist in the streamlined processing of customer orders.
* Monitor open orders within the Order Handling (OH) team to ensure timely fulfilment.
* Provide administrative support by managing and updating the OH collaboration site.
2. Daily Order Handling and Purchasing Tasks:
* Support the team by obtaining offers from suppliers and processing customer orders.
* Track and follow up on open orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Maintain and organize order records and documentation on the OH collaboration platform.
3. Process Improvement Projects:
* Participate in reviewing and improving current order-handling procedures.
* Contribute ideas and support the implementation of ServiceNow for enhanced order management.
* Assist in creating and updating the OH Wiki/Manual to document best practices and procedures.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
* Generate regular reports on open orders and provide insights to the team.
* Analyse order trends to identify bottlenecks, delays, and opportunities for process improvement.
* Develop dashboards and visualizations to present data findings effectively.

What You Know
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Strong Organizational Skills: Manages multiple tasks efficiently and meets deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team setting.
- Interest in supply chain management, logistics, or business operations.
