JOB DESCRIPTION

Nordic RCC seeks skilled Project Managers to drive projects with many internal and external stakeholders, supporting the green energy transition. As a Project Manager at Nordic RCC, you will lead projects meeting milestones and deadlines, to reach regulatory demands and with high technical complexity. You’ll be responsible for coordinating all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery. Working closely with diverse teams across IT, Service development, Data & Analytics, and business functions, you’ll ensure seamless collaboration and a transparent strong approach to project management. You’ll also guide each project through project risk management, stakeholder alignment, and progress monitoring in close collaboration with the Steering Group, ensuring alignment with Nordic RCC’s goals in the energy sector. The job requires security clearance which will be facilitated by Nordic RCC.
Your primary tasks and areas of responsibility:
- Define project scope, define resource need according to project plan, and manage project risks continuously through the project life time
- Define business case incl. resource need
- Develop, coordinate, communicate and execute project plans with clear milestones and deadlines, ensuring to deliver all milestones on time
- Facilitate collaboration among project stakeholders, from the different departments in the organization
- Monitor project progress, assess performance, and report outcomes to key stakeholders/Steering Group
- Lead a smooth transition from project to operational phase, ensuring an organized handover to line organisation
- Provide guidance to cross-functional project teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate holds a BA or MA in IT or engineering, however, substantial Project management experience in a similar role is more crucial.
Key skills include:
- Proficiency in IT or Engineering project management, with the ability to apply industry best practices and adapt them to specific project needs
- Strong drive and passion for project management, ensuring the project team deliver on time
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Proven track record in managing stakeholder expectations and leading cross-functional teams
- Capacity to communicate both big-picture objectives and project details, ensuring all team members understand their roles and contributions
- Demonstrated ability to identify challenges early and proactively drive solutions
- Industry experience is highly valued, but not a must
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in project management
- Full professional proficiency in English
