Ambu A/S is looking for an experienced People & Culture (P&C) Operations and Project Specialist to our HQ office in Ballerup, Denmark.
Reporting into the P&C HQ Director, you will be part of our P&C team in Ballerup that consist of both global and local responsibility. Your responsibility will cover P&C Operations activities and projects for our Site in Ballerup. Acting as the first point of contact for all Danish employees (500 FTEs), it will be to your credit that Operational People processes and projects are executed smoothly with a key focus supporting internal and external stakeholders.
This position is an addition to our current P&C Operation Specialist, and the main reason for extending the team is that we want to transfer more exception cases and projects responsibilities from the Global P&C Business Partners to P&C Operations. Therefore, the responsibility will be a solid mix of standard administrative P&C Operation task, project assignment and process improvement, where you will work closely with colleagues across Ambu.
This is a role well suited to a person who is keen to be challenged leading different internal P&C projects and who at the same time thrive in executing the daily operations and support to all leaders and employees. Key responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include Projects, continued improvements and ongoing admin within the following areas of responsibility:
Employee Lifecycle and Data Management
- Contract management
- Employee on-and offboarding.
Data quality and maintenance in HRIS (SuccessFactors)
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with P&C team to implement process enhancements and best practices.
- P&C Policy and guideline Ownership
- Ensure P&C practices are in line with legal requirements and update as required.
- Ownership of Employee handbook
- Keep a close relationship with Dansk Industri (DI) and other external stakeholders
Compensation & Benefits

- Collaborate with the payroll team (Finance) to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, including tracking of attendance, leaves, and other relevant data.
- Annual salary regulation
- Liaise with external vendors such as benefits providers, relocation/mobility service, tax advisors, company cars.
Employee relations
- Own the shared P&C mailbox, source of first line enquiries from the business
- Drive continuous improvement within P&C processes based on employee feedback
Suggested candidate profile
Skills and experiences can be earned in many ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have:
- Previous experience in a HR Operations role from a well-established organisation
- A broad skill set within the function, with the ability to handle a wide variety of tasks and questions.
- Structure as your DNA.
- Knowledge of Danish employment law and regulations
- Strong English skills in written and language – Danish would be an added bonus.
- A proactive attitude, with a high level of ownership in your work.
- Collaborative and solution oriented.
- High attention to detail and focus on driving good data practice.
