If so, we want you to join us as Corporate Vice President for Delivery Solutions Engineering.

The position is placed in Greater Copenhagen area, Denmark. We welcome applications from candidates based in Denmark and from international applicants.

The position
As Corporate Vice President of Delivery Solutions Engineering you will be leading an organisation of approx. 200 people with the unique responsibility to ensure robust technical execution of the Device and Delivery Solution product development portfolio. You will manage and effectively drive and optimize the development projects through competitive capabilities and processes. You will be responsible for ensuring overall product performance and reliability through the management of the technical design review process and gates.

Your most important task is to enable leaders and individual team members to improve their current performance and future potential through providing coaching and development opportunities.

You will be reporting to the Senior Vice President (SVP) for Devices & Delivery Solutions (DDS). As part of the DDS Leadership Team, you will drive the establishment, evaluation and recommendation of strategic options to maximize portfolio and organizational value. Finally, the role includes responsibility for internal and external technical partnerships, relevant communications and intellectual property strategies.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with:

  • MSc in Engineering or similar relevant academic background.
  • More than 10 years of relevant experience, technically as well as when it comes to leadership.
  • Substantial general business experience from within global/international MedTech/ Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical device processes is highly beneficial.
  • Knowledge of the device/drug development and life cycle management process, preferably from direct participation in project teams through substantial parts of the product development life cycle.
  • A natural inclination to continuous improvements of development processes, preferably combined with operational excellence / LEAN competencies
  • Proven track record of success in building high performance organisations.
  • The job requires a very high degree of independence and significant stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and quality standards relevant for medical device development.
  • Experience from working across the pharmaceutical value chain in a complex matrix setup.
  • Ability to motivate individuals, teams, and organizations to deliver high performance.
