Right now, you have the great opportunity to join the Operation Department group “Dual Fuel Technology”, and work with the latest engine technology within the emission area.

You will play an important role in:

• Assisting crewson ships.
• Working closely with our Design and R&D departments.
• Being a key player in introducing MAN ES dual fuel technologies.
• Joining us in our strategy of de-carbonization marine transportation.
• Working on state of the art technologies within new fuels; Methane, Ethane, LPG, Methanol and Ammonia.
• Taking responsibility for the fight against climate change by introducing environmentally friendly fuel

We imagine that you:

• Are an Engineer or a Bachelor of Marine Engineering with an interest in and knowledge of two stroke engines.
• Have some experience, but you may also be newly graduated.
• Are in good shape and you are flexible with working hours and travel activity.
• Have seagoing experience is an advantage.
• Speak and write English fluently.
• Are a strong team player who can motivate colleagues and be motivated by them.
• Can remain positive during a busy workday

Since all of our mechanical engines are controlled electronically it is crucial that you have a good basic understanding of both mechanics and electronics. You both like to have oily fingers or work in front of the computer, where you dive into technical drawings or communicate with customers. Finally, it is important that you see yourself in a very independent role where you effortless make important decisions on your own.

The position requires travels around the world for visiting engine builders, visit vessels and costumers.

Welcome to Engineering, Engine Support In our department, you will work together with around 80 highly specialized colleagues who play a key role in our Engineering and R&D organization. You will be part of one of our professional teams, rendering technical support to our customers on their ships and to the ship owners.

Our Dual Fuel Technology group works with control systems, mechanics, hydraulics, test and measurement assignments, focusing on the implementation environmentally friendly fuels. We work dedicated and focused, but don’t worry, we can also make you smile.. Our work environment is relaxed, and we focus on being a very tight-knit team, spending time with team-social arrangements like cooking classes and dinner/lunch arrangements.
