Data Analyst

We are searching for a Data Analyst for our newly formed Managed Services team within the Vendor Management function. You will be responsible for analyzing data and reports and transforming them into actionable insights that drive decision-making.

A central part of this journey is BEC’s tech transformation where outsourcing will be a natural, continuous part of the operating model to reduce complexity, increase efficiency, ensure access to international specialists, and focus the company. BEC has partnered with outsourcing vendors to manage many existing services and future-proof important platforms efficiently.

To support BEC’s strategic aspirations the Operations & Infrastructure division is adjusting its setup to handle a multi-vendor setup. This is the division you will be a part of. To ensure vendors and partners live up to BEC’s requirements and expectations and that their work is based on BEC priorities, a new area is being established for managing and governing vendors and partners. The new setup will handle BEC’s main partners.

You will get a role in shaping the data reporting setup and ensuring that necessary stakeholders have relevant data for decision-making. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the analysis of data, reports, and documentation management. You will take part in setting up and configuring tools supporting data and reporting in the Managed Service function.

If you are experienced with data analysis, supporting business and operations while having technical expertise and the ability to communicate complex data this role is for you..

Primary task and responsibilities include:

• Creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the reporting setup and data sets.
• Transforming incoming data to data models for creating actionable insights.
• Communicate and visualize complex data to internal stakeholders.
• Manage and maintain documentation and systems that support the Managed Services function, ensuring adequate tools for reporting and that data is accurate and up to date.
• Close collaboration within the Managed Services team to ensure the information needed for your colleagues to perform is in place.
• Define future data needs, e.g. data points needed for SLA reporting

To succeed you will:

• Be proficient in data analysis, being able to manipulate and interpret data sets to form data models for analysis of trends and insights.
• Have excellent data management skills to ensure accuracy and reliability in reports.
• Be able to communicate complex data clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Have experience in reporting and visualization with a strong proficiency with BI tools.
• Have a good understanding of ITIL, ITSM, and application lifecycle management.
• Be excellent at cross-organizational collaboration.
• Have experience with ServiceNow either as a user or with configuration.
• Thrive in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment.
