We are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer WTG to help strengthen the technical aspects of tender submissions within the Technical Sales WTG team.
What will you do?
As our new Technical Sales Engineer WTG, you will work on tenders for Wind Turbine transport and installation projects with the sales team and in-house specialists to identify the best technical solutions based on evaluation of technical content, cost drivers, and applicable risk factors.
Your main tasks include:
- Validate the engineering solution applicable for the vessel, by engineering the deck layout, lifting check, and stability condition for the tender considered.
- Build the vessel program and perform weather downtime calculations, based on the operational limits of the vessel.
- Consider seabed and nearby surrounding conditions, to ensure that vessel positioning is acceptable both in port and offshore.
- Manage subcontractors for different scopes, including vessel leg penetration and site specific assessments.
- Prepare documents for tender submission, including technical qualifications, preliminary method statements, and project schedules.
- Develop and enhance technical templates, tools, and methodologies to streamline the tendering process and reduce repetitive engineering workload.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including other internal engineering departments, Project Department, Vessel Crew, Clients, and Suppliers, with the objective of submitting compliant and optimised technical tender packages.
- Review and extract relevant information from Clients’ technical documentation.

We are looking for a structured, well-organized, and detail-oriented person with an innovative technical mindset, who possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
We think you will be a good match if you have:
- A BSc or MSc in Engineering (Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent).
- Previous experience (preferably 2-5 years) in technical sales or engineering roles within the Wind or Offshore sector. Previous experience with WTG and/or FOU tenders is an advantage.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering drafting software (AutoCAD 2D or 3D).
- Proficiency in verbal and written English.
