Draftsman (m/f) - Porto (Portugal)

Eurowind Energy is a Danish limited liability company, which over the years has become a leading developer and operator of photovoltaic, wind turbine and P2X projects. The company has more than 2.000 MW of operating assets under management in several countries across Europe and has been increasing its presence throughout the European market, including Portugal. The operations in the Southern European Region are run by the Portuguese office which also hosts a competence centre for solar projects for the whole group.

Due to our recent growth in development, construction and operation of renewable power plants, we are currently looking for a Draftsman. This job offers you the possibility of being part of a growing technical and commercial team, who backs other group’s affiliates, while working on a fast growth “startup environment” backed by a large international group

Main responsibilities:
Reporting to our Technical Manager, and based in Porto, the candidate will provide support to the engineering team. The role will include:

• Preparing final drawings for electrical, civil and mechanical designs of PV plants;
• Preparing and organizing final documentation for permitting, tendering and construction processes;
• Preparing and organizing “as-built” processes;
• Supporting on the preparation of TSO and DSO technical dossiers;
• Providing CAD and other document preparation software support to the technical and construction teams;
• Developing other CAD and documentation-related tasks connected to renewable energy plants or projects grid connection in general

The profile requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience working in a similar role preferably in the renewable energy sector;
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation;
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills;
• Proactivity and willingness to learn and grow in the renewable sector;
• Proficiency in MSOffice and CAD software tools;
• Fluent in English (command of other languages will be considered a plus);
• Ability to be based in Porto but to travel occasionally to project sites both nationally and internationally.
• Ability to work in several projects in different geographies at the same time.

Furthermore, you could have experience/skills in:

• University degree;
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning laws and environmental regulations, as well as experience in permitting applications;
• Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM)
• Knowledge of electrical/renewables national and international regulations and standards
