USTC is a rapidly expanding conglomerate at the forefront of the global shipping and trading sector. We are looking for a Compensation and Benefits Analyst to facilitate the compensation and benefits processes in a diverse and growing conglomerate.
You will be joining a team of 23 engaged colleagues within Group HR, based in our Middelfart office. Reporting to the Lead Compensation and Benefits Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding and developing compensation structures and strategies across our diverse company portfolio. Your stakeholders will include managers across the USTC Group, HR Business Partners, and external partners.
Data-Driven Compensation and Benefits Specialist
In the role of Compensation and Benefits Analyst, you will guide the refinement of the reward programs in our diverse company portfolio to align with organisational goals. You will cover all topics within the compensation and benefits umbrella such as analysing market trends, formalising variable pay agreements, conducting compensation benchmarks, supporting yearly pay-review-processes and ensuring compliance with pay transparency regulations. Additionally, you will contribute to our ESG initiatives by providing data-driven insights for reporting and decision-making.
More specifically, your responsibilities include:
- Supporting the group with compensation processes, including annual compensation review, variable pay agreements, benchmarking, reward policy formulation, etc.
- Analysing datasets to enable validated decision-making in compensation and benefits strategies
- Collaborating with HR Business Partners and business leaders to educate and advise on compensation decisions that align with organisational governance and goals
- Supporting the business’ with pay transparency compliance

Rational approach coupled with a high level of engagement
We are on the lookout for an individual who is meticulous and has a systematic approach to add to our diverse and collaborative team. You thrive in an ever-changing environment and have a solid skillset for data-driven decision-making. It is essential for this role that you are capable of autonomous work as well as productive interaction with all stakeholders. We are looking for applicants with 1-2 years of professional involvement in the field of compensation and benefits or rewards, who may have gained experience in similar positions.
Additionally, you possess the following qualifications
- You hold a relevant degree within a related field, such as a Master of Business & Administration or in business controlling
- You are highly proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets.
- You possess strong analytical skills and can interpret complex data to recommend solutions.
- You have extensive communication skills in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
