You will play an important role in: As a Project Sales Manager you will be a part of pursuing our clear strategy on decarbonization. Your main responsibility will be to manage large sales projects where our customers' fleets become more environmental friendly via rebuilding to new fuels. More specifically, you will be taking sales projects all the way from early project development to contract signature in close collaboration with the sales project members from other group functions like legal, proposal managers and technical specialists, incl.:
- Making market analysis and sales budgets together with the rest of the sales team
- Developing the sales segment and project specific sales strategies
- Developing and qualifying project leads together with the rest of the sales team
- Leading contract negotiations
- Doing customer visits and sales promotion travelling approx. 40 days/year
- Creating and maintaining customer relations and securing a close cooperation with our local sales team in our international group companies.
We imagine that you: You have a keen interest in developing sales projects and you have an ambitious nature which does not settle for “good enough”. You are self-driven and you adapt to and communicate easily with people from different cultures and educational backgrounds.
You combine technical insight with a flair for sales and clients. You enjoy the close interaction with clients, and you understand the process and complexity of larger international sales projects.
On a more professional note, we imagine that you:
- Have a commercial or possibly technical educational background (e.g. Naval Architect, Marine Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or other relevant education),
- Master English language fluently, spoken & written
- Have previous experience with large project sales B2B
- Some previous knowledge about ships or large engines are required
It will be an advantage if you have experience from offshore, maritime or power plant/heavy industry business, though this is not a prerequisite.
Welcome to Project Sales You will be joining the business unit Retrofit & Upgrade within PrimeServ Denmark. This is currently counting approx. 80 persons after having undergone significant growth during the last 5 years.
You will be working in the department Project Sales, which is supported by dedicated tendering and engineering departments. On daily basis you will be a valuable part of a project sales team consisting of seven colleagues which are backed by a number of technical product managers and other specialists.
You will be working from our Danish head office just by Copenhagen’s harbour front at Teglholmsgade 41. The daily works will mainly be conducted from our head office where you will be developing project opportunities in collaboration with your colleagues.
