Your role:
As our new Brand Director of Partnership Collections, you will be responsible for prospecting potential partners, signing new contracts, as well as growing their collections to drive Pandora’s brand relevance and desirability. The role will focus on cultivating strong, idea-driven partnerships via highly talkable and surprising collaboration with key entertainment, media, lifestyle brands as well as celebrities. You will lead the development and execution of collections that both uplift Pandora’s base and introduce newness, enhancing cultural relevance and shifting brand perception.
This role is pivotal in integrating collaboration collections into the broader business strategy and marketing efforts to drive Pandora brand heat and cultural relevance.
Key responsibilities:
Partnership Strategy & Development:
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for partnership collections that align with the company’s long-term goals, focusing on creativity, cultural relevance, talkability, and commercial success.
- Identify potential partners and opportunities in collaboration with cross-functional teams to create collections that resonate with target consumers.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Creative, Product Design, PR, Influencers) to ensure seamless integration of partnerships into product development and communication campaigns.
Partnership Development and Management:
- Prospect for new partnerships, identifying untapped opportunities that match Pandora’s brand equity, values and strategy.
- Lead negotiations with new partners to establish mutually beneficial terms.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including entertainment, media, lifestyle brands and celebrities.
Product Development & Creative Direction:
- Oversee the creative development of partnership collections to ensure products align with Pandora’s brand identity while incorporating partner brands’ uniqueness.
- Ensure the collections contribute to the shift in brand perception toward more culturally relevant and contemporary designs.
Performance Analytics & Market Insights:
- Monitor the performance of collections through data-driven analysis to ensure KPIs are met, including sales growth, brand desirability, and consumer engagement.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential collaborations.
Budget Management:
- Manage the allocated budget for partnership collections, ensuring efficient resource use and ROI maximization.
Requirements:
We are seeking a dynamic leader with experience in marketing and brand management, specializing in high-profile collaborations. You thrive in a global environment and have a proven track record of managing partnerships with top entertainment and lifestyle brands. With strong leadership skills, you can inspire and lead cross-functional teams in driving product development. If you are a strategic thinker with a creative approach to collaboration-driven brand growth, we’d love to hear from you! You should also have and be able to demonstrate the following:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in marketing and brand management with a focus on high-profile collaborations.
- Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in the context of product development.
- Extensive experience managing partnerships with global entertainment and lifestyle brands.
- Experience in international environment, in global headquarters as well as local offices.
- Strategic thinker with a creative approach to collaboration-driven brand growth.
