Be in your element with BA Wind
The QHSE Risk Management Specialist will be responsible for managing the overarching Risk Management process for Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, Sustainability and Security in Business Area Wind in alignment with the Risk Management Policy.
The Risk Management Specialist reports to the QHSE Excellence Lead within the Operational Standards team, and is part of the People, Culture and Standards staff functions within Business Area (BA) Wind.
Your key responsibilities:
- Harmonise and manage the Risk Management process within QHSE for BA Wind
- Integrate the QHSE Risk Management process with the BA Wind Risk Management process
- Support the QHSE operational standards team to ensure that processes are developed in compliance with the BA Wind Process Framework, and that all Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements are met.
- Collaborate with other Risk Management specialists within BA Wind and Vattenfall
- Collaborate with other Process Excellence roles to ensure that the total QHSE process landscape is cohesive and harmonised, and that all value streams work together seamlessly.
- Actively support and represent Operational QHSE in improvement project to move into an integrated BA Wind process landscape.
- Support the development of Process Performance Indicators (PPI) and conduct performance evaluations for the QHSE Risk Management processes
- Support the continued development and implementation of the ongoing strategic project to manage the Fatality prevention program using Bowtie methodology
- Train the users in the QHSE Risk Management process as required
- Set-up and collect performance and compliance data to support efficient decision making within the identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement activities that optimise stakeholder value and increase overall business performance.

Your profile
Your profile
You will feel comfortable quickly in this position if you bring:
- Master degree in a relevant field such as Fire Safety and Risk Management Operations Management, Quality Management, Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in QHSE risk management and process improvement, process design, and process implementation.
- Knowledge of management systems standards, such as ISO 31001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and ISO 45001 and the integration of these standards.
- Lean Six Sigma or similar industry recognised qualification in process excellence or quality management is a benefit.
- Ability to work collaboratively, including in a facilitator capacity, with cross-functional teams and to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience of fire safety is seen as beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Location
The group is organised internationally; the employees are located across all our core operating countries (NL, UK, DK, SWE and DE). The office location can be any of Amsterdam, Hexham, London, Kolding, Solna, Hamburg or Berlin.
