The position
as a Validation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to engage in the project in the role of operational responsible during the different project phases. You will help support the work package owners/engineering responsible and help drive the validation planning and execution forward.
As a key member of the project, your main tasks include:
- Contributing to project validation activities, spanning from detailed design and establishing User Requirement Design Risk Assessment. to validation planning, execution and reporting.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders such as Work Package Owners, consultants, engineering partners and close colleagues. Engaging in validation of warehouse facilities incl. temperature mappings, classified areas and automated warehouse solutions.
- Taking responsibility for own focus areas within the project as agree with and supported by your experienced colleagues.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we believe you:
- Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, pharmacy, science, or any other relevant field
- Possess relevant experience in a GxP regulated environment
- Demonstrate a good understanding of quality aspects of validation and engineering practices
- Showcase fluency in both written and spoken English
We are looking for both senior profiles and candidates in the early years of their career, and it would be considered an advantage if you have previous experience from the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry.

About the department
We are part of API Expansions, who manages CapEx projects across Novo Nordisk. In Warehouse Hub Kalundborg, we are responsible for implementing new internal warehouse capacity to meet future demand.
You will be a part of a team which within short time will consist of 15-20 dedicated colleagues, a team who takes care of each other and support each other. As an employee in the project team, you will be able to take up a lot of responsibility and gain support to develop. You can expect to grow both on a personal and professional level.
