The position
As we are rapidly expanding at site Kalundborg, we need a new profile for our infrastruc-ture process management team. As Infrastructure Process Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and securing the infrastructure overview of the PS API infrastructure ac-tivities on site Kalundborg. This involves coordination with the border zones of on-going pro-jects anchored in the Extension Project part of the organization .
In the role, you will work with:
• Supply and demand on utility capacities (Steam, District Heat, Water Resources, District Cooling, Electricity, Wastepipes etc.)
• Space and area management of the site Kalundborg in relation to infrastructure pro-jects being executed
• Site traffic situation and analysis of temporary changes needed together with traf-fic consultants, gate responsibles, local project managers etc. The projects in gen-eral are anchored in Novo Nordisk PS API, Novo Nordisk Expansion Projects, Novo-nesis, Nexel, Evida etc.
You will be the point of contact for managing infrastructure allotments and improvements for all our expansion projects and existing production operations. This will entail working closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including the public sector. You will actively participate and report to decision forums to develop a consensus with the key stakehold-ers. This role requires a good communicator and pragmatist to develop strategic solutions for the future of the site. In additional a strong general technical acumen is an important facet of the coming Infrastructure Process Engineer.
As this is a newly established position, you will have the opportunity to shape the role and de-fine its responsibilities.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
• Several years of experience with similar tasks from larger production companies, con-struction sites or consultancies
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree within Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Planning, or simi-lar
• Technical knowledge within utility systems, construction, site planning (incl. land use, zoning, and transportation)
• Understanding of environmental regulations and sustainable practices
• Fluency in English and Danish – spoken and written
In addition, relevant project management experience with numerous projects and related coordination tasks is beneficial. While formal education is beneficial, knowledge can also be obtained from strong practical experience. Knowledge of Danish legislation for infrastructure purposes and excellent planning and structural skills are also important for the role.
On a personal level, we imagine you supplement your dynamic personality with a natural abil-ity to engage your stakeholders. You can work independently as well as in a team environ-ment. In addition, you are detail-oriented and excellent at managing projects and handling different people's needs, even when things change quickly.
About the department
The position is placed in Business Support at our API site in Kalundborg which is part of our global production division; Product Supply – counting around 24.000 employees world-wide .
The API Business Support consists of about 125 highly qualified employee s with a multi-tude of professional backgrounds, all with the common purpose to support our production and implementation of Novo Nordisk strategies within API. At site Kalundborg we produce diabetes and obesity and haemophilia products 24/7, which are continuously distributed to patients worldwide.
