For generations, we have been dedicated to building and developing high-quality pumps for cargo handling, fueling the vessel's engine and supplying full packages of engine room pumps. At Svanehoj Singapore our specialty is both standard and tailor-made pumps suited for virtually all applications across the engine room in vessels across Merchant Marine, Energy and Navy markets.

Lead development, Streamline Product Portfolio, and Optimization
Your primary work focus will be lead development of new series/expansion of existing series of centrifugal pumps from a technical point of view. The work includes:

• Streamline product portfolio – selection for preferred series, auxiliary and series for phase out
• Direct execution of development tasks including sizing, drawing, dimensioning and analytic calculation
• Contribute to continues development of product processes, template, instructions etc.
• Contribute with R&D angle development, selection and implementation product related IT system such as CPQ, ERP, PLM etc.
• Contribute to synergies between our different series of pumps
• Last/highest point of contact regarding technical issues in live production
• Close cooperation with Sales and Service in relation to customer needs

Engineer with in-dept and expert knowledge about centrifugal pumps and mechanical design
We are looking for an innovative and dedicated engineer with specialization, passion and expert knowledge for mechanical design. The ideal candidate possesses:

• In-dept/expert knowledge about centrifugal pumps and mechanical design.
• Strong utilization of tools like 3D CAD, FEM, CFD etc.
• Wide understanding of marine sector demands as well as international and cross organizational development.
• +10 years of experience in development of centrifugal pumps or similar rotary machinery
• Experience for leading centrifugal pump development and customer specific development

You have no difficulties in making decisions regarding technical issues and take pride in streamlining processes and the product portfolio. Your strong proficiency in English allows you to communicate clearly and professionally, ensuring smooth collaboration in a global environment.

Although you will be employed at Svanehoj Singapore, your work location will be in Svenstrup, where you’ll work alongside 25+ talented engineers and technicians to research new technologies and develop products for our customers. Our team is highly skilled and collaborative, using the latest tools to create valuable solutions, particularly in green technologies for the shipping industry.

We operate in a flexible, fast-paced environment, where close collaboration with internal teams, customers, and suppliers ensures the best outcomes. Our R&D department, together with Engineering and Automation, serves as the technology hub for other functions like Sales, Project Management, Procurement, and Production, and we even have an Innovation Lab for prototyping and testing new ideas for future products.
