Therefore, we are currently looking for a Director in our HR Business Partnering team to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.
Team and Role
The Director of HR Business Partnering will play a pivotal role in aligning our partnering approach with business objectives, driving organizational effectiveness, and enhancing our company culture. This role will lead the HRBP team in supporting leaders across the organization, ensuring that HR initiatives build and strengthen a high-performance culture and support our commitment to excellence and growth. The HRBP team consists of 5 profiles ranging from Sr. to Associate, hence leadership skills and the ability to lead a diverse team of profiles with varying skill set and experience is essential. The Director HR Business Partnering simultaneously acts as Sr. HRBP to our Integrated Product Development area, thus staying close to the business.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Business Partnering: Guide the HRBP team to effectively partner with leaders, ensuring alignment between business needs and HR strategy and understanding how to interact with leaders at different organizational levels. Build on existing framework to further define and clarify the HRBP-role, securing it is seen as valuable in the organization. Secure that the HRBP team is fully capable of running the HR annual cycle as well as drive required processes within e.g., talent management efforts, succession planning, leadership development, transformations, and workforce planning.
- HR Strategy & Leadership: Collaborate with the SVP of HR and the HR Leadership Team to design and implement an HR strategy that supports our organizational goals. Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders in Integrated Product Development (R&D), providing insights on talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness. Lead initiatives that reinforce our employee value proposition and position us as an employer of choice.
- Ensure that the HRBP team act as trusted advisors to leaders on key HR matters, such as team dynamics, performance management, and organizational structure.
- Organizational Development & Culture (HRBP capabilities): Champion our company values and purpose, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Oversee and execute initiatives to improve employee engagement, feedback culture, and overall organizational health in collaboration with HR Development and HR Operations. Support change management and transformation efforts to help Terma grow significantly in the years to come.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a senior HR Business Partner or HR leadership role. Proven experience working in production, technology, or similar industries with complex organizational structures. Demonstrated success in influencing senior leaders and driving strategic HR initiatives is essential as is a broad knowledge of talent management, organizational development, and change management.

- Data-Driven/analytical: Strong analytical skills and skilled in using HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire a high-performing HR team
Required education/degree:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
