We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Inside Sales Executive to join our Sales team in Istanbul, Turkey. In this role, you will report to the Sales Manager responsible for Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Lebanon, and Israel.

About the position:
In the Sales Department, we focus on customer requests and orders for all Life Saving Equipment onboard with VIKING’s global network. Our primary focus is on customer satisfaction, and we are the global brand trusted by our customers.

Primary tasks and responsibilities in the position include:

  • Preparing and presenting quotes for incoming inquiries.
  • Following up on all business processes from quotation to invoicing.
  • Ensuring the supply of materials for ships belonging to regional shipowners at various ports worldwide, using VIKING's global network.
  • Coordinating with the Logistics and Warehouse teams within the VIKING network.
  • Maintaining high customer satisfaction and providing systematic solutions for customer needs.
  • Supporting sales executives and communicating with customers over the phone.
  • Documenting all sales activities according to VIKING Group standards.
  • Creating, updating, and managing contacts, accounts, or opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Regularly communicating with potential or existing customers and responding to inquiries.

Necessary skill set
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position, preferably within the maritime industry, and a positive, result-oriented attitude.

You should have strong project management skills and the ability to independently drive projects forward. Knowledge of sales and industry requirements would be an advantage.

Furthermore, we would like you to have the following qualifications:

  • 3 years of work experience in sales and customer relationship management, preferably within the maritime industry.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Experience with SAP is preferable.
  • Male candidates must have completed their military service.
  • Based in the Istanbul, Maltepe office with occasional domestic and international travel for training and customer visits.
