We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Product Manager to lead the strategic direction and development of our enterprise-grade software solutions for Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our software ecosystem, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software product management, extensive experience in agile methodologies, and a proven ability to deliver impactful solutions in complex, fast-paced environments.

Your responsibilities are:

• Define and Execute Software Strategy: Develop and own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for our software platforms, aligning with company goals and customer needs.
• Market and Customer Insight: Gather and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within scope.
• Product Backlog Ownership: Manage and prioritize the software development backlog to ensure alignment with strategic goals and business value.
• Focus on Scalability and User Experience: Advocate for best practices in software architecture, cybersecurity, and intuitive user interfaces.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present product plans, roadmaps, and updates to senior leadership and global stakeholders.
• Technical Oversight: Collaborate with technical teams to refine and translate complex technical requirements into actionable development plans.
• Agile Leadership: Champion hybrid product development processes and agile methodologies, ensuring continuous improvement in software delivery.

The successful candidate
At MiR, we come in all shapes and sizes, and we cheer each other on. However, we do expect that you bring the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on software development for robotics, industrial automation, or enterprise platforms.
• Strong leadership and indirect team management skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with experience influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies, architecture, and market trends in robotics or industrial automation.
• Proficient in product lifecycle management, agile/scrum practices, and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable software solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage trade-offs between competing priorities in a global, cross-cultural and fast-paced environment.
  

It could be great, if you have:

• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and practices for enterprise software.
• Familiarity with enterprise integrations such as ERP, MES, WMS or VDA5050 protocols.

As a person, you are open-minded and pragmatic with an innate ability to continuously learn and develop your skills. Besides, you have a willingness to travel to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
