Senior Maintenance & Engineering Manager - Taulov

Location: Fredericia, Taulov, DK

Then this position as Senior Maintenance and Engineering Manager at Tistrup and Taulov Dairy, is the right position for you. Here you get great freedom to manage your department independently and help influence the development of the dairy in general and specifically within your area.

At Taulov Dairy, we produce 60,000 tons of yellow cheese annually. The main products are both brands for the Danish market (Klovborg and Riberhus) and products for the global market. The dairy has a total of 250 employees. At Tistrup Dairy, the annual production is 3,200 tons – the dairy will close as in the beginning of 2026 and products will be transferred to Taulov Dairy. The M&E department at Taulov plays a crucial role in this successful transfer, so as the new M&E manager you will be facing some exiting tasks.

How you will make an impact
You will lead a team of 49 experienced employees in the M&E department, incl. several direct reports (3 M&E team leaders, 4 employees working with production IT, two project leaders for CAPEX /investment). In addition, you will be part of the management team on the site and you will of course also work closely with colleagues at the head office in Viby. You will be referring directly to the senior site director at Taulov & Tistrup Dairy

Together with your team, your most important task will be to ensure that the dairy's process equipment, service installations and production IT run as it should. Here you will especially focus on preventive maintenance to ensure as much uptime as possible. The dairy is on an exciting journey to become CO2 neutral, and you will play a vital role in this.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

• Implementation of SAP PM in the spring of 2025
• safety and working environment – which we have a special focus on that all rules are complied with and that we deliver quality on time and within budget.
• coaching, motivating and developing your employees, while making sure they have the right skills to do the job.

You will be overall responsible for targets and forecasting of M&E budgets, engineering compliance as well as building and maintenance projects including Capex/investments in the department.

What will make you successful
We are looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record in team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, take responsibility, and proactively work with stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions.

Additionally, we expect you to have:

• A background in engineering or marine engineering, or alternatively, experience in a related craft.
• Management experience in a similar role, preferably within the food industry.
• Ability to keep a cool overview and find solutions when unforeseen challenges suddenly arise.
• You take pride in following through on your tasks and ensuring timely deliveries, and you always base your decisions on facts.
• A good eye for how we can do things smarter, faster and more efficiently together.
• Proficiency in Danish and English, written as well as spoken.
