Agilent Technologies is looking for a R&D Scientist.
We are hiring a R&D Scientist for a temporary period of 12 months in the Pathology Division to support technology expansion and development of new antibody reagents for In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) devices.
About the job
- The job involves optimization of the development workflow for efficiently generating new antibody candidates of various formats.
- You will work on implementing High-Throughput selection, cloning and screening methods for developing new antibodies. Design and introduction of additional reagent characteristics for future generation diagnostic reagents is also part of the job.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a dedicated personality and team spirit as those are the key characteristics to be successful in this position. You should also have:
- A master’s degree in biochemistry, molecular biology or equivalent
- Typically, at least 1-2 years relevant experience for entry into this level
- Experience with cloning, protein expression and purification
- Experience with NGS
- Experience with cell analysis by flow cytometry
- Experience in optimization of processes or HTS
- Experience with binding assay methods
- Experience with immunoassays is an advantage
