Key Responsibilities:
As the Business Unit Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement both short- and long-term strategies to achieve business growth and profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Regional Sales Managers, Sales Representatives and Product Managers.
- Meet or exceed annual revenue and operating income targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to grow market share and strengthen Stryker’s reputation.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and engagement while supporting the professional growth of team members.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and ensure alignment with regional and European strategies.
- Collaborate across divisions and with enabling functions to deliver innovative, customer-focused solutions.
Location: Any main cities in Northern Europe. Including Amsterdam, Brussels, Oslo, Copenhagen, Malmo.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- A degree or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a commercial leadership role such as Business Unit Leader, Regional Sales Manager, Marketing Leadership or equivalent preferably within the medical device industry.
- Experience in direct sales and strong knowledge of the medical device market, including key products and competitors.
- A proven track record of delivering market share growth and achieving financial performance targets.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams.
- Financial acumen, including experience managing P&L.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing and executing marketing plans across multiple markets.
- Expertise in change management and fostering team engagement.
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office and familiarity with performance management systems.
