Your role and responsibilities
If you have pharma experience and want to help take a leading, international technology company to the next level in the pharma area, now is your chance. You will be part of an international project team together with 3-5 other Application/Project Engineers and a Lead Engineer. You utilize and share all of your good knowledge and help create the classic ABB spirit characterized by helpfulness, knowledge sharing and room to have fun together. Your new job is about building automation solutions into new production areas in Kalundborg, and you are involved all the way from design to final handover to the customer. You will typically help translate design requirements into functional specifications, for which you subsequently program (PLC/HMI). Finally, you validate your solution by testing and demonstrating it to colleagues and then to the customer. Whether you want to be based in Ballerup, Kalundborg or Middelfart is entirely up to you, as long as you are ready to be at least one day a week with the customer in Bagsværd and/or Kalundborg – and daily during periods of test activities. Your responsibilities: • Participate in all phases of pharma automation projects from design to handover • Participate in the preparation of functional specifications based on the overall process and design requirements • Programming controllers (PLC) and configuring SCADA systems (800xA) • Plan and carry out test activities – FAT/SAT, signal/loop tests • Quality assure project deliveries according to GMP • Document according to GMP requirements – you must be motivated to document systematically • Contribute to creating the classic ABB environment, where it is fun, rewarding and developing to be
Qualifications for the role
- A technical education such as engineer, marine engineer, automation technologist or similar
- Minimum of a few years' experience from working with pharma processes incl. GMP and batch control
- Experience in validating according to GMP regulations
- Experience with PLC programming – we'll teach you 800xA if you don't know it
- Overview and ability to work independently with partial tasks
- Good English skills – much of the daily dialogue is in English

You will be part of our relatively newly established Pharma Engineering. We are an international group of currently approx. 20 Project Engineers. We handle our projects in teams of 3-5 engineers.
