Our Northern European P&O team are looking for a new colleague to join our recruitment efforts and initiatives within our regional Support Offices across Northern Europe. This Recruitment Business Partner position is vacant as our wonderful colleague has accepted an internal career development opportunity.

The role
As the Recruitment Business Partner, you will work closely with your teammate, aligning on all ongoing activities and projects and part of the P&O team. The P&O team is responsible for continuously supporting and strengthening the business through all variations of P&O activities including Learning & Development, Operational Excellence, Business Partnering and HR admin.

In this role your primary tasks and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Ensure that candidate experience is at the heart of all we do and that all ‘runner up’ candidates are kept warm for future opportunities.
  • Be accountable for the full circle recruitment for assigned regional support offices, filling each role within agreed time and cost to fill targets.
  • Working with Country P&O to ensure streamlined finalization of recruitments including contracts and pre-onboarding initiatives.
  • Responsible for supporting Hiring Managers with advice, tools and materials in order to deliver the very best talent into support office roles. And as a business partner, ensuring that Hiring Managers are able to drive recruitment processes responsibly, with support as and when needed.
  • Ensure the most relevant candidates (and efficient sourcing methods) are utilized to support and deliver existing and future needs whilst delivering a first-class candidate experience.
  • Where required, deliver psychometric testing as part of recruitment processes delivering results to candidates and hiring managers as part of the selection process
  • Keeping up to date with candidate requirements and preferences, considering market conditions, team dynamics and future role requirements.
  • Ensure all candidate records are maintained on the database in line with GDPR regulations

In the role of you’ll report directly to Monika Urbone, NE Head of Regional P&O & Recruitment.

Rare travel is to be expected in the role.

Your new team
As the Recruitment Business Partner, you’ll enter a dynamic team of 13 people, working with all spectres of the P&O practise. We are all specialized within our field but depend on a high level of collaboration across our team, but also with the NE organisation. Our team boasts an impressive collective experience with some members having dedicated many years to Specsavers while others bring fresh perspectives.

In the NE P&O team we are focusing on evolving & enhancing People experiences as well as securing future ready people for our organization. As part of that, we are currently, deeply involved in several exciting projects, including a new ATS and HR system as well as re-wamping our career site,

Your qualifications
We’re seeking a curious, compassionate and skilled recruiter to our team and to fulfil this role at Specsavers, you should align with the following requirements:

Essential

  • 1-3 years of recruitment experience, preferably from an inhouse function.
  • 1-3 years of experience with facilitating full cycle recruitment processes, including pre-process activities, pre-screening, setting up and conducting interviews with hiring manager or other stakeholders.
  • Experience with stakeholder management, preferably within the Nordic region.
  • Good business sense and understanding of how recruitment play into bottom-line results.
  • Administration and coordination experience, preferably with experience from handling P&O admin tasks.

Desirable

  • Relevant BA/BSc or MA/MSc, within Business Administration, HRM, psychology, social studies or like.
  • AI curiosity and experience working with Microsoft Copilot or similar.
  • Experience in campaign planning and working with ‘hard to fill’ recruitments.
  • Experience with Sourcing across industries and organisational levels.
  • Knowledge of Boolean way of searching and/or other searching methods.
  • Experience with psychometric and/or personality assessment methods.

On a more personal level, we would love to welcome someone to our team who is passionate about the Recruitment practise and want to excel, but also curious about the general P&O area linking to Recruitment.

Your development
Within 3 months, you’ll:

  • Be onboarded and run your own recruitment processes, with the needed support by your side.
  • Gain understanding of the business functions you support and general Specsavers practices
  • Feel comfortable working with our internal systems and reporting tools.

Within 6-12 months, you:

  • Run full circle recruitments for the functions and countries that you will be accountable for.
  • Understand Specsavers’s matrix organization and skills & capability needs.
  • Can be the go-to-person for Recruitment Processes
  • Be expert in Hogan personality assessment and feedback.
