Job description
As Group Controller, you will be strongly involved in various interesting task with a good deal of responsibility. Overall, the team attend to a broad variety of tasks on group level, such as preparation and consolidation of estimates, monthly reporting, and yearly budgets. You will be part of the Group Controlling team and work closely together with the finance teams and finance leaders around the world at the different locations.
Specific work tasks:
- Controlling and reviewing of a broad variety of Danish entities within various industries.
- Participating in preparation of internal reporting to Management and Board of Directors.
- Participating in budget and estimate processes.
- Preparing of audit material.
- Participating in the preparation of group annual financial statement.
- Building and maintaining strong relations with internal stakeholders.
Based in Fredericia, you will report to the Group Finance Director, and join the Group Finance team consisting of 8 highly skilled accountants and controllers. To accommodate a close relationship with stakeholders within the group you should expect 10-20 travel days a year. Ambitious and curious financial profile with strong interpersonal skills.
We expect you to hold a HD-R or other relevant theoretical background. You have experience from a similar position or as auditor preferably combined with a solid understanding and experience within consolidation at group level as well as strong IT skills. You are fluent in both written and verbal Danish and English.
You are ambitious and result driven with a positive “yes-can-do approach”. While having a professional strong analytical and structured mind-set and a pragmatic approach to problem solving, most likely you are also an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You understand the importance of keeping deadlines and have a natural curious attitude and you are not afraid of challenging status quo.
