We need your talent, knowledge and dedication to better our world with biology.
Our purpose points the way
In Novonesis, we know that solutions rooted in biology can help solve humanity’s biggest challenges. Since we began more than a century ago, this has been our guide. It’s how we've gotten so far. And it’s how we'll impact the future. Now, more than ever, the world needs change. And with biosolutions, the possibilities for transformation are endless.
We’re here to better our world with biology.
Join us as our new Global Regulatory Affairs Manager for Human Health Biosolutions
Welcome to the Human Health Biosolutions (HBB) Regulatory Affairs Global Coordination Team.
In our department, we are responsible for developing, managing the life cycle, and supporting claims/communications of products globally, in compliance with the highly fragmented and ever-changing regulatory framework for food/dietary supplements and ingredients, as well as other human health food applications such as Human Milk Oligosaccharides in infant and follow-up formulas and Advanced Protein Solutions.
You will be working alongside great colleagues who love what they do and are always ready to share their knowledge and experience. The HHB Regulatory Affairs team is a group of just over 30 people, spread across three regions: Americas, EMEIA, and APAC, and is divided into three pillars: Advocacy and Intelligence, Regional Teams, and Global Coordination.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Being the regulatory project lead for different types of global projects (innovation, development, and life-cycle management).
- Serving as the primary point of contact between global functions (e.g., marketing and R&D) and other regulatory professionals (e.g., in the regions) to guide the business in selecting the optimal route to market and ensuring that our products comply with applicable legislation in targeted countries.
- Leading projects on the topic of Market Access continuity, ensuring that regulatory risks related to human health biosolutions (probiotics, vitamins, enzymes, HMOs) are identified, mitigated, or their potential impact accepted by the business.
- Working at a strategic level to translate legislative and scientific developments insights into company product-related requirements.
Potentially relevant experience:
- Hold a minimum of an MSc or equivalent in science (agricultural science, biotechnology, biology, microbiology, or a related field).
- Have 5-10 years of global food regulatory experience, in a business-to-business (food ingredients) or business-to-consumer (food/dietary supplements) setting.
- Possess strong communication skills and experience in working with cross-disciplinary projects in an international setting.
- Be fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Be a team player with dedication to quality and a willingness to learn. Appreciation for an informal atmosphere while working in a cross-cultural organization is valued.
