About the Role
As an IT Support Specialist, you will contribute to the optimization of our Tier 2 ERP platforms, a critical component in Essity's global operations within the medical sector.
Acting as the bridge between business requirements and external service providers, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall efficiency of our IT services, maintaining and troubleshooting legacy systems, ensuring their optimal performance, and providing user support to enhance productivity and satisfaction.

What You Will Do
User and system support:
- Provide specialist support to users of legacy systems in the medical business area, addressing complex service requests and issues.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of legacy systems, including hardware, software, and network components.
- Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of legacy systems.
Collaboration and coordination:
- Collaborate with external service providers and vendors for issue resolution, service requests, and technical upgrades.
- Contribute to the improvement of service processes and knowledge databases.
Business requirements and process optimization:
- Understand, document, and maintain business requirements for the ERP system and related solutions.
- Review and optimize business processes with business units.
- Facilitate workshops to capture and analyze business requirements.
- Support business case development and portfolio prioritization.
- Translate business needs into actionable instructions for service providers and developers.
Compliance and documentation:
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
- Maintain documentation of business requirements, service processes, and issue resolutions.
- Ensure documentation meets GxP standards and IT parts of QMS system are up to date.
- Monitor and enforce SLAs to meet performance standards.
Who You Are
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- You have proven experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment, focusing on ERP systems and IT support.
- You have in-depth knowledge of PC hardware, networking, and desktop application software, including operational systems based on MS Windows and MS Office.
- You demonstrate excellent collaboration skills, working independently and as part of a team.
- You possess a strong understanding of service management principles and practices.
- You excel in communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with internal teams and external service providers.
- You have an analytical mindset, translating complex business requirements into actionable tasks for service providers.
- You have experience working in an Agile delivery environment, planning and participating in projects.
- You have strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
