About the job
As a Project Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in upholding the quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Working cross-functionally, you will represent quality assurance in product development and ensure continuous improvement of quality processes are established. This role will involve active collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, focusing on supplier quality management, quality control plans, and compliance auditing to support our commitment to excellence.
The job requires working closely with Suppliers to ensure Statutory and Regulatory requirements are understood and met.
Your primary responsibilities are as follows (but not necessarily limited to):
- Drive and support the integration of quality processes ensuring alignment with supplier quality standards throughout the NPI project phase.
- Provide expertise in developing, approving and ensuring compliance with the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) with suppliers.
- Represent Quality and the "voice of the customer" in product and process development to ensure customer requirements are implemented and controlled in the industrialization of new products.
- Support cross-functional teams in the PPAP process, including process flows, FMEA, and Control Plans.
- Initiate and support continuous improvement initiatives based on lessons learned during product development to refine PPAP and NPI procedures.
- Support suppliers in developing Control of Production requirements.
- Manage internal compliance audits, and conduct regular supplier and internal audits.
- Develop Quality Control Plans and Quality Plans for new products and parts, ensuring robust quality standards from the outset.
- Drive supplier assessment, approval, and quality agreements during the NPI stage. Lead supplier audits, improve supplier performance monitoring in cooperation with Operations and manage Supplier Improvement Programs prior to mass production handover.
- Manage assigned non-conformances, complaints, and improvement projects from the annual Quality Development Program.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality processes, including surveillance and improvement tools within the INVISIO Group.
- Support the development of tools to ensure statistical process capability.
- Report on the status of product development, key risks, and opportunities, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
- Ensure that CTQ features are clearly identified and measurable throughout the manufacturing process, working with cross-functional teams.
- Lead problem-solving activities and root cause analysis for project quality concerns, using tools like RCA, 8D, etc.

About you
We hope to meet a candidate with the following qualifications, education, and previous experience:
- Degree-qualified in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field and familiarity with ISO9001:2015, AS9100, or similar standards.
- Knowledge of core tools such as APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP / FAIR / Control Plan
- Hands-on experience in applying APQP and PPAP requirements, developing quality control and quality plans, managing supplier quality agreements, and conducting supplier audits.
- Proven expertise in leading supplier assessments and implementing supplier performance monitoring systems.
- Experience in managing internal audits, maintaining compliance standards, and driving supplier auditing programs.
- Solid understanding of technical drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes (SMT, machining, injection molding).
- Proven ability to lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively at all levels, from shop floor operators to senior management.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to engage with suppliers as needed and a clean driving license for essential supplier interactions.
- A team player with proven stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Effective in a cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to manufacturing/engineering, especially in Defence, Avionics, or high-compliance sectors, is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), process capability assessments, and the ability to work with suppliers to ensure effective monitoring and reporting.
- Familiarity with ISO14001 and ISO45001 will be beneficial.
- Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies and continuous improvement strategies.

Our work hours are 37 Hours (Full Time): 8.15 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday with 45 minutes for lunch and 8.15 a.m. to 1.15 p.m. on Friday. These are the core Company hours; however, additional hours may be necessary from time to time to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
