About the job
Are you our new colleague who will further strengthen our department and take our market leading products to the next level? To support our ambitions around digitalization and connectivity, we are looking for a proactive Mechatronic Engineer to drive the continued development of our current portfolio of Sensing & Control products.
Sensing & Control is a part of the R&D department within the business unit Hygienic Fluid Handling, where we develop our strong portfolio of fluid handling products like valves, pumps, cleaning and mixing. In the Sensing & Control team we are responsible for developing and maintaining mechatronic products and we have an ambition to expand our portfolio in the future. You will have a high degree of freedom in your daily work and experienced colleagues to support you. Reporting to Global Development Manager, the main purpose of this position is to maintain and development of our current portfolio of Sensing & Control products.
Your responsibility is to:
- Keep the products competitive in the market by continuous product enhancements and upgrades based on customer feedback.
- Interaction with stakeholders across the full value chain, both internally and externally.
- Improving the products from idea to implementation in design and manufacturing.
- Test and validation in our “state of the art” test facilities.
The position is based in Kolding, Denmark. Up to 10-20 international travel days a year must be expected.

Who are you?
As a person you are result oriented, have an analytical as well as a focused approach to your work and is energized by working agile. You proactively seek solutions in a professional manner and characterize yourself as cooperative and communicative.
What you know?
You have a strong technical background within the fields of electrical and mechanic engineering. You have experience with product development, your background could be Mechatronic Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or other relevant background.
If you have experience with mechatronic, automation, pneumatic, plastic parts and assembly it will be a benefit. You know how to find and solve problems in a structured manner using tools like Lean DMAIC. You are used to cooperation with sub-suppliers when it comes to technical demands and problem solving.
Our products are used within the food/pharma industry thus knowledge about equipment for these industries would be an advantage.
Due to the scope of the position, you are fluent in Danish and English both written and verbally.
