As our current AFR-managers are moving to DHL in the US, we - DHL Global Forwarding Denmark - are currently looking for a department manager for our AFR (both Import and Export) activities in Vejle. You have relevant experience, strong personal skills, and a willingness to contribute and coach.
The physical work location is in Centerbakken, Vejle.
In this position you will, among other things:
● Lead and motivate a team of skilled freight forwarders
● Drives performance improvement to achieve KPI targets
● Prioritizes and delegates work tasks among the team members
● Ensures that all customer enquiries are responded promptly and professionally
● Attend customer visits
● Takes an active role in the development and coaching of the team and identifies development wishes and needs
● Serves as escalation point for customers, Operations, overseas offices and other parties
● Monitor overall customer activity and take necessary action.
● Monitor and analyze department GP down to file level.

Working hours: The position is a full-time position (37 hours excl. lunch)
The compensation package: The base salary is determined by your qualifications and competencies. The position is graded and sit within a predefined payband. Besides the base salary you will have – just to mentioned a few of the benefits - a pension scheme, bonus scheme, 25+5 vacation days per year, and a “Fritvalgskonto” (a “saving account” equal to 9% of your annual salary) paid out in December.
