LEGO Koncernen

Job Description
Are you an Experience Designer by heart with a strong and confident design understanding and toolbox? Are you looking for a unique opportunity in a dedicated team where you will be conceptualizing, prototyping and making a difference on what is truly core to the LEGO® building experience?

Well, here is your chance to use your design craft and collaborative skills when exploring new opportunity spaces for the builders of tomorrow in an agile, consumer focused and insights driven team!

#LI-TVN1

Core Responsibilities
In this position you will play a key role in exploring, prototyping and defining new building experience concepts and consumer journeys across our target groups, across our portfolio. Taking the LEGO building experience to the next level will be your proudest task. Moreover, you will:

  • Analyze and co-design our physical and digital building experience facilitation
  • Coordinate and facilitate design sprints and collaborative workshops with partners from all areas of the organization.
  • Lead workstreams independently, driving pilot projects and explorative design initiatives, ensuring full team participation and effective collaboration.
  • Engage in the full process of kids tests and involve the broader LEGO Design organization in debriefs and potential actions.
  • Bring your integrated Design thinking and Design process mentality to work and proactively connect the dots with your specialist colleagues across the value chain.
  • Support our structured, cross functional capability building efforts around Experience Design as a subject area.

Play your part in our team succeeding
The Building eXperience Design team is anchored at the heart of LEGO Design. We are on a strategically founded mission and learning journey to unlock the potential of the physical and digital building experience.

As a specialist team, our key objective is to deliver insights driven innovation. With steadfast consumer focus, we explore new building experience concepts while balancing portfolio impact with business value and complexity awareness.

Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate holds a degree within Design/Experience Design/Service Design + equivalent working experience within the field of design or innovation, providing you with a well-developed methodological toolbox.

To succeed in this role you:

  • Have a holistic design mindset: having the full consumer journey in focus while designing the details of it
  • Hold sophisticated visualization skills and work experience with both physical and digital consumer experiences.
  • Have a passion for using prototypes to progress fast: you rapidly transform ideas into physical and/or digital mockups that can be put in front of consumers.
  • You are curious and opportunity searching when building relations and solving challenges across teams.
  • Have a structured working style: you enjoy the preparation and wrapping up as much as the creative process itself.
  • Have a track record of navigating between and leading more projects at the same time.
  • Truly enjoy diving deep, analyzing and mapping insights as part of the design process
  • Are confident in preparing and presenting to a variety of collaborators on all levels.
  • Hold process optimization and value chain understanding as natural areas of interest.
