Investment Manager
DNB Luxembourg S.A. is a DNB subsidiary, entirely owned by DNB Bank ASA. DNB Luxembourg S.A. is part of Wealth Management in Norway. DNB Luxembourg S.A. provides private banking and investment advice mainly to Scandinavian customers living outside their homeland. The Bank also offers loans essentially to Scandinavian customers for permanent or second home in Spain, France, Portugal and Switzerland. DNB Luxembourg S.A. was established in Luxembourg in 1985 and presently employs around 43 50 persons from 16 different nations, gathered in the center of Luxembourg City.
We are recruiting an Investment Manager within the Private Banking of DNB Luxembourg S.A. You will be part of the front office team of 13 employees, all Scandinavians. We envision an outgoing, energetic candidate, equally comfortable with working in a team as with individuals. You should have relevant experience in the Private Banking / Wealth Management sector or in a similar position.
Responsibilities:
• Manage our discretionary portfolios, ensuring alignment with client mandates, risk profiles, and regulatory guidelines; as well as rebalancing based on the banks view on a regular basis;.
• Take ownership of the bank’s product governance processes, including the development and implementation of portfolio management strategies and offerings, participate in the local investment committee
• Maintain and build relationships with important internal and external stakeholders such as DNB Markets, DNB Asset Management and DNB Private Banking Norway as well aswell as risk and compliance in order to maintain a high standard on portfolio management from a regulatory perspective;.
• Act as a doer, taking initiative and drive projects on relevant topics. Stay informed about the development of relevant financial markets and at any time have in-depth knowledge of the Bank’s investment policy and investment proposals/ recommendations;.
• Support Account Managers and/or departments whenever necessary;
• Maintain competence and participate in all education, training and/or certifications imposed by the bank and/or the authorities on the bank and its staff;
• Participate actively in the development of the department, as you should consider yourself an important team player;
• Ensure a high standard of documentation and security.
Competence and experience requirements:
• Good understanding of and competence about international capital markets and capital market products such as equities, bonds, f/x, funds and derivatives;
• Knowledge of product governance within financial services;.
• Good knowledge of personal finance and investment theory;
• Good international market understanding;
• English and a Scandinavian language are mandatory;
• Command of Microsoft Office tools is considered a plus.
Personal qualifications:
• Higher/university education in a relevant field (business, economics, finance);
• Positive attitude and happy to work both in the team and individually with a detail-oriented and proactive approach;
• Open-minded and flexible;
• Resourceful.
