We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Manager to act as an intermediary between the Nordic Head of Legal and the commercial teams and group functions across the Nordics. You will take a key role in ensuring that teams have the necessary resources and guidance, and in considering and applying legal and commercial best practices.
This is a new position with us. You will report to the Nordic Head of Legal and take part in the global network of contract managers in our group.
Key Responsibilities:
First and foremost, this role provides first line daily support to the agencies and the group on behalf of the legal function with regards to potential and existing clients, vendors, publishers, and partners, or direct inquiries to the relevant resources or teams within the group.
Main assignments:
- Triage requests into the Legal function, offering access to self-help legal notes and templates to empower commercial teams.
- Provide support to the legal function with regards to various legal and commercial priorities and projects as well as assisting in drafting or completing contract templates.
- High-level guidance to commercial teams in interpreting contracts (e.g. NDAs, media buying agreements, data processing agreements), explaining scope, obligations, rights, and remedies, providing summaries, and in relation to client pitches such as RFI’s.
- Review and analyze vendor and client policies to ensure alignment with group policies.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to track negotiation and signature of contracts with global vendors, ensuring consistency in terms.
Working smarter:
- Identify gaps or issues within e.g. the contract process and suggest improvements at all levels.
- Ensure commercial teams are familiar with and adept at using the legal resources, processes, and templates available.
- Drive process efficiency and seek innovative ways to improve performance.
- Help maintain content and documents on the Nordic legal hub.
- Connect with other contract managers in EMEA and APAC for knowledge sharing and creating helpful synergies.
Qualifications:
Key Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree in Business Administration and Commercial Law, or a related field or equivalent certification from Denmark or Sweden.
- Good legal understanding/understanding of contract law.
- Strong business acumen.
- Experience or interest in the advertising and/or digital industries.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain legal concepts to non-lawyers and communicate well with a wide range of people across different markets.
- Proactive, self-starter, and collaborative with a strong work ethic.
- High self-motivation, independent and a solution-oriented "can-do" attitude.
- Significant analytic skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to build networks within a complex and diverse Nordic organization.
- Our corporate language is English, and we expect legal and business proficiency in both written and spoken English in order to communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience drafting contracts.
- Experience working with teams across legal, commercial, finance, IT, operations and similar functions.
- Strong IT skills, comfortable with databases and tools.
- Proficiency in Swedish or Norwegian is a plus.
- Experience with privacy is a plus.

The position is full-time with 37 hours per week. Salary is based on qualifications, and the expected starting date is as soon as possible. Interviews will be held ongoingly.
