We are looking for a Manager, Production Readiness who will ensure the direction on the future manufacturing setup for wind turbines around the world.

Concept and Launch department, within Production Engineering Nacelles in Nacelles Manufacturing, is an important part of innovation, transforming innovation concepts into tangible, high quality products by setting up a strong technical governance. ensuring production readiness and delivering targeted training to equip teams with the skills needed for execution. With a blend of skills, creativity, and precision, we ensure our new products meet our exacting standards from concepts to productions. The department is primarily focusing on development activities in Denmark but is interfacing in a global environment having production facilities across the globe, where support can be needed.

Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Production Readiness Manager to join our Concept and Launch department. This role requires an effective leader with strong cross-cultural communication skills, technical acumen, and a focus on generating results in a global, collaborative environment.

  • Global coordination: Lead and manage production readiness activities across a diverse, global team with members located in different countries. Ensure seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams, encouraging communication and alignment
  • Leadership and development: Manage and mentor team members, encouraging a culture of collaboration and quality
  • Stakeholder engagement: Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on production readiness status and addressing concerns
  • Optimization: evaluate and refine the way we work today, implement best practices to improve efficiency of the team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
  • Experience working with teams in a global environment
  • Experience in production readiness, manufacturing, or a similar role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a global, cross-cultural team.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experienced and skilled at engaging stakeholders at all levels with communication and collaboration
  • A goal of delivering high-quality outcomes while meeting tight timelines

Competencies
Our Production Readiness Manager must possess a combination of technical, management, and interpersonal skills to excel in this role. Below are the important skills critical for this position:

  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills to develop team members' capabilities
  • Ability to foresee and align production readiness activities with organizational goals
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and overcome issues in a busy environment
  • Ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication
  • Proficient in working with diverse, international teams, ensuring cultural sensitivity and effective collaboration
  • Skilled in facilitating collaboration across departments and ensuring alignment on goals
  • Takes action to address situations before they grow into problems
