Are you a dedicated and flexible research associate who thrives in a dynamic environment? Do you like to develop and implement new methodologies and assays in the lab. Do you want to contribute to the expansion of Novonesis into new business areas and be part of an engaged and innovative team. Then you might be our new colleague!
Being a member of our team requires a high level of independent thinking and allows for high influence on Novonesis future direction. As a research associate with us, you will be among skilled colleagues, but you will also be responsible for driving your own tasks forward.

We are part of a mixed unit consisting of people with technical and commercial backgrounds focusing on the identification, assessment and testing of new technologies and business ideas that can expand into the new areas for Novonesis. We are driven by the exploration of new opportunities and a crucial part of this is setting up relevant experiments to qualify our ideas and determine technical feasibility.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Creatively developing new methods and rethinking the way we test new technologies.
- Deciding with the team what data and experiments are crucial and then perform them with expert skill.
- Displaying dedication in troubleshooting and problem solving related to analyses and equipment.
- Enjoying working with various unknowns and engaging your colleagues when needed.
- Being flexible and contributing where most needed.
- Experimental knowledge in molecular and microbiology assays and workflows
To succeed you must:
- Have an education as a research associate or equivalent.
- Preferable have experience with mammalian cell culture.
- Experimental knowledge in molecular and microbiology assays and workflows
- Be willing to shift tasks and lab depending on the research priorities.
- Like to perform thorough precision work and have experience with electronic data handling.
- Be a team player who values social interactions and actively contributes to a positive atmosphere.
