Team and Role
As our new Space Program Manager, you will be responsible of leading one of our strategic important Space Programs going forward. You will take the responsibility in structuring and organizing the future setup around the product and program, including product development, production, supply chain and related deliveries to all customers going forward.
To succeed in this position, you need to secure agreed deliveries to existing customers and at the same time plan and execute on deliveries towards new and strategic customers.
You will oversee the program life cycle ownership and ensure that all external and internal stakeholders are on top of their commitments into the program. You will have the overview from cradle to grave and be on top of all sub-projects within relevant life cycle activities and areas.
In addition, you will be responsible of managing resources, schedules and financial aspects of the program, and adhere to quality and guidelines throughout the program life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Proven track record in leading teams to deliver on sub-projects that span across program life cycle activities
- Manage resources, schedules and financial aspects of the program
- Management of issues, risks and program change requests throughout the life cycle
- Contributing to process improvements in relation to lessons learned
- Ownership of full program life cycle
- Management of all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
Qualifications
The qualifications include:
- Several years of experience within Program Management and life cycle management
- An understanding of complex projects/programs and experience in leading and managing these
- Capable of taking ownership for the full program life cycle
- Solid experience within stakeholder management both externally and internally
- Solid customer negotiation skills and Key Account Management experience within program management area
- Great presentation skills and a customer orientated approach
- Space domain knowledge will be an advantage, but not a limitation
Required education/degree:
- You are a certified Project/Program Manager or similar. it is an advantage if you are certified within PMI or PRINCE 2
- You have a proven and strong people leadership background in complex working environments
Personal profile:
- You can work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- You have great understanding of organizational structure and a strategic mindset
- You are outgoing and have a proactive attitude
