Role summary
We are in search of an experienced Cloud Data Architect to become a valuable member of our dynamic team. As the Cloud Data Architect, you will take full ownership of the organization’s data architecture strategy, ensuring the integration and governance of data across various systems. You will be responsible for architecting a robust, scalable, high-performance data infrastructure that aligns with our enterprise goals and supports both operational and analytical needs, directly contributing to the enhancement of our medical devices and production efficiency.
You are expected to set a clear direction for cloud data architecture and provide mentorship of the “Data & AI” technical team with members located in both Denmark and Poland. Hence, the role requires a strategic mindset and strong leadership capabilities of coaching a team of highly skilled professionals to successfully deliver on our targets. Being a true team player with a focus on creating an open, inclusive, and collaborative work environment and establishing transparency in the team is fundamental.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the modern data stack, cloud architecture (preferably with a focus on Microsoft Azure), integration architecture and data modelling. In this role, you will have the chance to shape and build the future data platform for Ferrosan Medical Devices.
Your responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data architectures, ensuring alignment with the overall data strategy.
- Architect and optimize data integration workflows, harmonizing data from fragmented operational systems.
- Oversee and drive the development of the logical enterprise data model (EDM) and ensure consistency across all data repositories.
- Establish and enforce data governance, quality, and security standards within the architecture.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members, ensuring best practices in data architecture and integration.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality and Production units to integrate Data solutions into our daily operations.
- Stay on top of industry trends in AI and data science, incorporating cutting-edge methodologies and technologies into our projects.
Your profile
- You probably have experience (+5 years) working in data architecture, data management, or a related field, ideally within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical devices sector.
- You have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data architectures across the full supply chain in manufacturing organizations.
- You hold a relevant educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- You are highly experienced in data integration, data governance, and data quality best practices using modern data technologies.
- You are an excellent communicator, who thinks strategically, and is capable of guiding enterprise level decisions.
- You are fluently speaking and writing English
