Responsible Investment in Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is a sizeable team of professionals with passion for Sustainability, ESG, Climate and data. As a student in the ESG Quant team, you will play a valuable role in implementing and shaping NAM’s ESG data and analytical tools.

What you’ll be doing
Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Support the creation of quantitative analytical tools; and enhancing existing climate or ESG related tools used by NAM
  • Support the team with ad-hoc deliverables
  • Work in the junction between investment and ESG
  • Be a part of our agile development team, responsible for NAM’s ESG Data analytics platform
  • Display our tool and research in a web application

You’ll join a small team of internationals, based in Copenhagen and Stockholm, in a student position with 20 hours/week based in Copenhagen.

Who you are

Your background and skills include:

  • Have a critical mindset and ability to draw relevant conclusions
  • Are thorough and methodical in your approach to work and able to work with limited supervision
  • Appreciate working with data, coding python, R and collaborate on projects through git
  • Have knowledge and understanding of the Investment universes: portfolio construction, benchmark, different instruments etc.
  • Have an interest in climate and the broader ESG space
  • Are comfortable in an environment with varied workloads according to stakeholder needs.

It would be ideal if you also:

  • Currently a student at a relevant university program (such as IT University, DTU, Economics, etc.) and will continue to be for at least the next 12 months
  • Proficient with Python or R
  • Knowledge of git is seen as a valuable skill
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English
