Join us in this role where you’ll be a part of a 10-week immersive summer experience designed to strengthen your development through tailored programming focused on three key aspects: exposure to our core business, vision centered and collaborative experiential learning, and professional development.
Welcome to Region Americas Commercial Team
You’ll be part of M&A and Business Development where you, together with your colleagues, will contribute directly to the growth of our organization in Americas through asset acquisitions, joint development agreements, and other partnerships. You’ll screen, evaluate, and transact on new wind, solar and storage projects and partnerships across the U.S. The team you’ll be joining is creative and fast-moving, able to lead team members across the organization through the diligence and transaction process.
You’ll play an important role in:
- assisting transaction managers with screening new projects and negotiating project purchase agreements
- conducting due diligence on exciting new projects and acquisition opportunities
- presenting acquisition opportunities to internal stakeholders and leadership
- screening new acquisition opportunities both qualitatively and quantitatively, using financial modelling
- acting as a cross-functional project manager between internal functions to effectively conduct acquisition due diligence
- assist transaction managers with closing deliverables.
To succeed in the role, you:
- are studying for a degree in engineering, finance, economics or similar and graduating in 2026
- are eager to learn about the renewable energy industry
- are comfortable sharing your opinion and facilitating meetings
- are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- are a collaborator who looks forward to taking on new opportunities and challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm
- should be able to start in-person on Monday June, 9th for intern orientation.
