Role Overview
We seek an experienced HSE Lead to oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental management across multiple offshore wind farms in Taiwan. As a core member of the Operations Management Team, you will ensure safe, compliant, and sustainable operations during the transition from construction to operations. Leading a team of HSE Managers, you will drive a robust safety culture, align with regulatory and corporate standards, and effectively manage diverse stakeholders.
Take a leading role in advancing safety and quality standards:
- Ensuring all managed assets across multiple wind farms meet statutory HSE requirements and adhere to Taiwan-specific legal regulations.
- Managing complex QHSE challenges in multi-stakeholder environments.
- Developing and implementing HSEQ operational strategies and processes to drive organisational excellence.
- Optimising critical work processes, including inspections, audits, RAMS reviews, and planning activities.
- Leading QHSE initiatives to empower operational teams and contractors, enhancing their performance.
- Building strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, contractors, and project owners.
What you will bring to the team:
- Degree in safety or a related discipline, complemented by a Class A OSHA Health and Safety License.
- Extensive experience in the QHSE domain and a strong understanding of OHSE legislation.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills to engage effectively across teams.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
- Ideally, you bring experience from wind operations and maintenance in both site-based and office-based roles. A background in management consulting, large-scale energy infrastructure projects, or positions that have allowed you to develop a broad skill set and extensive expertise in the renewable energy sector would also be highly valuable.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the renewable energy sector or a closely related industry is required.
