The Company
A manufacturing specialist in neonate nutrition, operating as part of a larger group with headquarters in the UK. This division focuses on providing specialized nutrition solutions and consists of multiple production sites, each with unique operational specialties, united by a common goal of leadership in neonate nutrition.
In Denmark, the company employs approximately 95 professionals dedicated to producing innovative products, including an alternative protein source to soya and milk replacers.
With an annual production exceeding 150,000 tons across over 20 markets, the business continues to show strong performance.
The Assignment
The current finance manager is currently absent, and therefore needs you to ensure competent and efficient management of the finance department until their finance manager returns. You will lead site Finance team of 2 (1 finance controller & 1 bookkeeper)
With reference to the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role within the Finance function and is a key member of the site management team. This role encompasses responsibility for maintaining a robust financial control environment, delivering accurate reporting, and providing strategic Finance business partnering.
Key Responsibilities
Your role involves overseeing business systems and reporting tools to drive decision-making and operational efficiency while managing the finance department professionally. Responsibilities include:
- Timely and accurate internal and external reporting.
- Preparing monthly management reports, including P&L, balance sheet forecasting, and budgeting.
- Supporting the business with financial data.
- Enhancing systems and processes, focusing on digitalization.
- Leading the site’s ERP and PowerBI systems to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Ensuring compliance with ABF Financial Controls (FCF & Red Book).”
Candidate Profile
We are looking for an interim manager who has a Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, Finance or Accounting.
Also:
- Qualified accountant with solid experience in accounting principles and processes.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in ERP and PowerBI systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Danish accounting and reporting standards.
- The company language is English
