As a Financial Accountant, Accounts Payable, you will join Bang & Olufsen’s growing finance team in Sofia, Bulgaria. In this pivotal role, you will oversee key bookkeeping tasks, ensure timely financial reporting, and contribute to the growth of ongoing finance projects and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage various bookkeeping tasks related to Accounts Payable processes, including invoicing, payment preparation, asset register updates, bank postings, vendor creation, and GL postings.
• Oversee travel expense booking via Concur and assist with VAT reporting.
• Prepare transactional reports, such as WEEE and statistical data submissions.
• Provide continuous support to the business and colleagues, ensuring adherence to bookkeeping principles.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Support ongoing finance projects and contribute to process optimization efforts.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by the direct manager.

• Extensive financial bookkeeping experience at a high level.

• SAP ERP experience.
• Previous experience in a similar Financial Accountant role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Communication skills for interacting with stakeholders of varying financial knowledge.
• A collaborative and collegial approach to teamwork.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• An interest in learning and growing professionally.
