The Position
As a Maskinmester at Novo Nordisk, your responsibilities will include ensuring the stable operation of facilities, establishing and adhering to maintenance plans, optimizing facilities, and implementing upgrades, conversions, and renovations. You will work closely with the factory's production team, permanent craftsmen, and other stakeholders to define, coordinate, and plan tasks. Additionally, you may participate in the company's 24/7 duty roster in your site of work and ensuring operation during off-hours. Your work will be both practical and administrative in nature.
The positions we offer are within our expanding support and technical teams, and we are seeking skilled maskinmesters to execute on various ongoing activities. This will require extensive planning and coordination within departments and with external vendors.
We are also looking for colleagues to support the organization with existing production facilities and related production and development processes.
Depending on your level of experience and professional background, we will match your profile with relevant roles ranging from entry-level to senior positions.
You will have a range of responsibilities, including:
- Maintaining large HVAC systems or process air systems, ammonia systems.
- Ensuring maximum uptime for our technical supply systems to support 24/7 research, development, and production.
- Continuously optimizing the operational economy of technical systems.
- Driving and executing various energy projects related to operations of different characters and complexities.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Following up on stable operation of facilities.
- Establishing and adhering to maintenance plans.
- Implementing upgrades, conversions, and renovations.
Qualifications for Maskinmester/Marine Engineers positions
- Professional Bachelor as Maskinmester/Marine Engineer or equivalent.
- Technical know-how of productions systems acquired from industry or education is preferred.
- Being familiar with LEAN principles and can work in accordance with them.
- Having the ability to monitor data and extract information.
- Having appetite for connecting the understanding of process science to product quality.
- Being professionally proficient in written and spoken English and Danish.

At Novo Nordisk manufacturing hub in Kalundborg, we are growing. From 2022-2029 we will invest 60 billion DKK to expand existing facilities for the current and future portfolio within serious chronic diseases.
