As CMF Concept Visualization Designer in the System and Material Innovation Team you will work at the intersection of Product Design and Color Material Innovation!
Core Responsibilities
You will have overall responsibility to develop and visualize new Color- Material Innovation opportunities across the portfolio, as well as to provoke innovative Material and System Innovation
- Concept Development: Create and develop future-oriented design concepts that integrate industrial design with innovative materials and system solutions.
- Visualization: Utilize advanced visualization skills to translate sophisticated ideas into compelling visual representations, including sketches, renderings, and 3D models.
- Hybrid Thinking: Apply both analytical and creative thinking to explore and develop concepts that challenge conventional design boundaries, focusing on material and system innovation.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct research on emerging trends in materials, colors, and finishes, as well as in industrial design, to inform and inspire concept development.
- Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineers, Material Development, Designers and Specialists to bring concepts to life.
- Prototyping: Develop prototypes that optimally communicate design concepts, allowing for iterative refinement and testing.
- Material and System Innovation: Focus on the integration of new materials and systems into design concepts, considering sustainability, functionality, and aesthetics.
- Design Strategy: Contribute to the strategic direction of design projects, aligning with broader business objectives and customer needs.

You will part of the System and Material Innovation Team and have broad interaction with partners on many different levels, ex. all Design Teams, Design Leadership Team, Operations, Material Development and Specialists

We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual who can bring innovative ideas and a collaborative spirit to our projects. Here are the key requirements for this role:
- Proven Experience: We require at least 5+ years of proven experience in Industrial Design / and working with CMF. Your expertise will be crucial in driving our design initiatives forward.
- Visualization and Storytelling: We value excellent visualization skills and the ability to share design thinking through strong storytelling and presentation skills. Your ability to communicate ideas effectively is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: We seek someone with excellent 2D and 3D skills, fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, and proficient in 3D software such as KeyShot, Rhino, Alias, SolidWorks, ProE. Your technical skills will help us bring our concepts to life.
- Collaborative Spirit: We believe in the power of teamwork. You will work collaboratively with partners across different departments and use agile ways of working to achieve our goals.
- Communication Skills: We need great visual, verbal, and written communication skills. Your ability to communicate innovative ideas with internal and external partners across all levels is vital to our success.
- Unique Portfolio: We are looking for a unique portfolio that proves solid design skills and forward-thinking. Your portfolio should showcase your creativity and innovation.
- Trend Awareness: We value trend awareness and a deep understanding of current and future trends in design, materials, and technologies. Your insights will help us stay ahead of the curve.
- Educational Background: We require a master's or bachelor's degree in industrial design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
