The position
As operational readiness responsible QA, you will become part of a newly established QA department supporting the new production site for assembly and packaging of finished products in Tietgenbyen, Odense, Denmark.

In this role you will have the responsibility of driv-ing the tasks related to QA operational readiness, for us to be ready to produce products of high quality to millions of patients all over the world. Once the facilities have been constructed, final ap-provals obtained and we start up production, you will help ensure a smooth transition of our proce-dures and documents towards production to bring products to market.
As a part of your role, you will perform QA reviews and oversight of different types of documents and procedures related to both future production and current validation. You will help assure quality and compliance with the current GMP rules and guidelines. Furthermore, you will participate in dif-ferent forums as our local QA representative for operational readiness.
You will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders on developing procedures and implementing sys-tems locally at the site in Odense, for us to live up to both the internal and external requirements in our Quality Management System (QMS).

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Hold an MSc in Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or similar.
  • Preferably have knowledge and experience within quality assurance and/or production in a GMP regulated area.
  • Preferably have experience within assembly and packaging processes and the pharmaceuti-cal industry.
  • Be proficient in English.

About the department
Novo Nordisk is expanding our global manufacturing footprint in Tietgenbyen in Odense, Denmark, to meet the increasing demand for current and future treatments in serious chronic diseases. This presents an exciting challenge and an opportunity to make a lasting impact.
As a member of this Fill & Finish Expansions QA department, you will be key player for ensuring qual-ity in designing, planning, and building our manufacturing footprint in Odense.
Once the facility in Odense is in operation and final approvals have been obtained, it will become part of Novo Nordisk's global network of manufacturing facilities of finished products delivering medi-cine to millions of patients worldwide. To succeed, a high level of commitment from the Quality As-surance department is required to assure the highest quality for our patients, even when challenged during project execution and daily operation.
