Your opportunity:

As our new Regulatory Manager for EPOS, you will be the expert in regulatory affairs, acting as an operative consultant on all global projects. You will interact with our Danish R&D team and collaborate daily with our dedicated project managers and their teams in China. Additionally, you will be one of the primary interfaces to external approval authorities together with our regulatory team in Poland.

Epos has a very flat organization and a lot of technical competences in-house (HW, ME, SW, AE, PJM, supply chain) so there would be a lot of surroundings help.
You can look forward to a wide portfolio of interesting and diverse tasks. Primarily, you will act as Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Manager, ensuring global product certifications. Responsibilities include classification, risk analysis, technical file review, communication of regulatory product requirements, and coordination of other authorizations, such as safety.

Your tasks and areas of responsibility will be:

• Monitoring and interpreting new legislation that can impact our business
• Maintaining and developing relationships with our global network of external approval houses
• Acting as the crucial link between development projects and regulatory requirements from global authorities
• Monitoring and reporting new regulatory initiatives to relevant engineers, developing and optimizing regulatory compliance processes, and maintaining our database of technical documentation are key aspects of this role
• Scoping and driving projects for optimization of business processes related to regulatory affairs
• Managing global certification processes to obtain and maintain product approvals worldwide
• Participating in tenders and internal/external audits
• Setting direction for the company and be a regulatory mentor and coach for employees
• Budgeting, planning and following-up
• You will report to the Director, Supply Chain Management

Ideally you have:

• A master’s degree, preferable in science, engineering or with Telecommunication experience
• Solid knowledge of legislation and regulation worldwide within the consumer electronics industry
• Solid experience in the registration/certification process in different markets globally
• Experience with cross-functional projects on tactical and operational levels
• International experience with work relations in different cultures
• Management and leadership experience
• Excellent in written and verbal communication in English
• Structured and extrovert working style
• Strong organizational communication skills horizontally and vertically
