Join Our Team as a Senior Risk Specialist – Third Party Risk Management
Non-Financial Risk (NFR) is a second line of defence function within Group Risk Management, responsible for setting standards, advising, and overseeing non-financial risk management across the Group.

As a member of the NFR Personal and Business Customers team, comprising 11 experienced risk specialists, you will engage with diverse and complex topics with Group-wide impact, directly supporting the Group’s strategic goals. Your main focus will be Third-Party Risk Management. This involves building relationships and collaborating with specialists and stakeholders across the Group and lines of defense.
Your key responsibilities:
- Support and challenge the first line of defence with NFR framework implementations and promote a sound risk culture.
- Provide and enhance second line oversight, monitoring and challenge, particularly regarding the Third-Party Risk Management framework.
- Oversee Third-Party Risk Management reporting for senior management and various Risk Committees.
- Oversee Danske Bank’s implementation of Third-Party Risk Management elements, including advising on programme deliveries related to Third-Party Risk Management.
- Oversee alignment with regulatory requirements through solution design and implementation.
What You Will Bring
You are an analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in everything you do. You are skilled in managing relationships and communicate efficiently, interacting with diverse stakeholders to create desired outcomes. Additionally, you possess:
- A higher educational degree.
- Direct experience in Third-Party Risk Management within a Financial Institution is preferred, along with a good understanding of IT services.
- Understanding of operational/non-financial risk methodologies.
- Fluency in English.
- Understanding of products, practices, and third-party risks including corporate risks
