The department
The global sales function is divided into three main pillars:
- Traditional sales/global accounts
- Marketing and communications
- Sales support systems and sales processes
Reporting to the VP of Completions Sales, the Global Solutions Manager – Subsurface will be the interface of Welltec and to operators when it come to subsurface discussion and related data analysis. The role will have focus on reservoir management and control solutions of Welltec and work together and support the sales team in areas.
The position
The Global Solutions Manager oversees all sales related systems and processes in addition to helping to coordinate various sales trainings. The main objective is to provide fast support across our systems to the all of the Welltec sales community around the world whenever required.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Subject Matter Expert on Reservoir and Subsurface discussion
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Reservoir and Subsurface (R&S), facilitating effective interaction between Welltec Completions and client R&S departments.
- Able to discuss functionality and benefits of Welltec reservoir management and control solutions to the clients
- Exhibit a confident, outgoing personality with strong technical acumen to build lasting client relationships.
- Engage with clients at multiple levels, from senior leadership (VPs, department heads) to reservoir engineers, geologists, and technical advisory roles.
- Identify, participate and drive early-stage field evaluation discussions with clients, identifying opportunities where Welltec solutions can add value to individual wells or full-field developments.
- Provide expertise across various field types (e.g., conventional, unconventional, shale plays, geothermal, CSS) and completion types (e.g., cemented, cementless, stand-alone screens, gravel packs, multi-stage frac, plug and perf)
- Reservoir and subsurface modeling intepretation and analysis
- Conduct in-house NetTool simulations to support sales opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive business case reports using NetTool output and Welltec Value Proposition software, clearly illustrating the benefits of Welltec solutions versus alternative lower completion systems
- Support dynamic reservoir modelling (e.g., Eclipse) for selected opportunities, in collaboration with third-party consultants or client teams
- Internal training
- Managing subsurface related internal training to sales team globally
- Coordinate and maintain training materials
The candidate
The preferred candidate has the following profile:
- Specialized schooling or High education in Engineering, geology or related education
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a reservoir engineer within a subsurface group, ideally a combination of operator and service provider role
- Experience working with diverse well environments and completion types
- Be open-minded and service-minded, eager to network with others and to assist them,
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for mentoring and developing less experienced staff
- Willing to relocate to Denmark for a permanent assignment
