Join us in this role where you’ll have the responsibility and opportunity to develop IT solutions that support the design and installation of wind farm foundations. You'll also develop, support, and maintain applications for our platforms, playing a key role in our digital transformation.
Welcome to Software Engineering Team
You will be part of our IT Competency Centre where you, together with your colleagues from different areas, including product owners, scrum masters, application architects, and testers, will develop custom applications that support our wind farm operations. You’ll join our global and diverse IT department, counting more than 500 skilled and dedicated colleagues. As a team, we work together closely, openly share our knowledge, and support each other to achieve great results.
You’ll play an important role in:
- acting as a leader within the delivery framework and technology area
- guiding the Scrum team by helping developers take ownership of scalable, resilient, global, and frequently improving solutions
- promoting innovation by coding with engineers, identifying root causes, and sharing lessons learned
- mentoring team members through advice, coaching, and training to enhance their skills and knowledge
- ensuring team adherence to development guidelines and processes through governance and compliance check.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have advanced programming proficiency in Python
- have a good understanding of Angular and experience with implementing designs prepared by UX experts
- have practical knowledge of Git, DevOps practices, and reliability practices
- have good knowledge of design patterns, good practices, object-oriented design, and clean code
- be proactive with good analytical skills and support requirements coming from business stakeholder.
