Then you might be the Logistics Coordinator, we are looking for to join our Shipping Operations team!
The Position
As Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring efficient execution of deliveries to Novo Nordisk production sites, affiliates and external customers . Our processes are highly automated, and we strive for hands off processes. However, y ou will work closely with our 4PL in relation to urgent shipment planning and execution, as well as coordinate between warehouses and freight forwarders, when needed.
Your key responsibilities will include to:
- Ensure efficient delivery execution in close collaboration with 4PL and internal stakeholders including monitoring our automated shipping processes
- Collaborate closely with our 4PL & warehouse regarding urgent shipment planning and execution
- Proactively resolve potential issues in cooperation with relevant stakeholders and colleagues, always trying to find root cause and prevent reoccurrence of the issue
- Continuously align and collaborate with 4PL and our other internal or external stakeholders to improve our processes
- Generate shipping documents, as well as documents for the bank i.e. letter of credit and collections
- Participate in cLEAN® and other improvement activities and/or internal projects in relation to the shipping processes
Qualifications
- You have a relevant education within supply chain.
- You have at least 3 years of experience with logistics and shipment coordination, preferably within pharma and GDP.
- For this position, you will need to be fluent in spoken and written English , and you are an experienced user of MS Office and preferably SAP.
- You maintain excellent relations with your stakeholders and can communicate clearly and concisely across cultures and organisational levels. You are a team player and have a structured work approach.
- You are known for your positive and proactive approach. You have a strong drive, a sharp eye for details and good analytical skills as a foundation for making the right decisions
The position requires a high level of independence. The logistics coordinator must proactively solve potential issues in cooperation with relevant stakeholders and colleagues.
The department constantly seeks to continuously improve performance and robustness, and the logistics coordinator is expected to contribute to this development by participating in cLEAN® and other improvement activities and/or projects.
About the department
Global Logistics & Distribution (GL&D) is a central Supply Chain & Business Development organisation in Product Supply, managing all cross-functional logistical systems and processes and Finance. We are app. 70 employees in Bagsvaerd (DK) and 10 in Bangalore (India)
The department is overall responsible for the global distribution of Novo Nordisk products between production sites and to our affiliates and regional offices across the globe, focusing on delivering a high service while balancing the environmental footprint with the financial impact. Furthermore, we have the responsibility for storage of GxP products, covering both in- and outbound distribution. While taking the responsibility for global distribution, GL&D is responsible for overseeing and complying with all regulatory and quality requirements related to distribution of pharmaceuticals, managing the distribution cost and performance management of our warehouses and vendors
The open position is in our Shipping Operations team. As our new Logistics Coordinator, you will join a team of 14 highly motivated and talented colleagues.
